BYLAWS & STANDING RULES

The HRE-PTO Bylaw & Standing Rules were approved on September 8, 2015.

Bylaws are the broad rules that govern how our PTO group is organized.  In these bylaws, you will see our mission statement, what it means to be a member, how officers are elected, and other important information on how our organization runs.  Please note that PTO meetings are conducted using Robert's Rules of Order, customized for our PTO's needs, to ensure quick and productive meetings.  

 

Standing Rules or Policies and Procedures covers things such as how to request a reimbursement from the PTO, how we create the annual budget, and how to collect and report on funds collected during fundraisers and events. If you have volunteered to be on a committe, or just would like to understand how your school PTO runs, you will find most information in these two documents.
